Martine Henry, photographer
Martine Henry is a friend and talented photographer. I had the chance to work with her on her digital portfolio and book layouts.
She defines her photographic approach as follows:
At the edge of boundaries and borders the human soul seeks alternatives or loopholes. Capturing those moments is exciting. The present, the magic of the instant reveals all that there is in us fears, mysteries, joys and misfortunes. The metaphor is both words and images. Light inscribes the infinity of things captured. Research is history. From the past to the future there is only one fragment of time named present. So vivid, so furtive, and so terrifying, for only his power of immediacy fixes moments. Our lives are collection and fascination. The looks are multiple and the relevant question: what are we facing? Myth or reality? My approach is multiple as the human of things and lives that sometimes deviate. Life is a quest, photo one encounter, both fall on the same deadline. Life is a whole, made up of fullness and emptiness. The search for the passing time is an unsatisfied passion.
